No I did not.
Do I like them? I do.
Would I buy one? No, but an Amarok comes close to temping.

A little less slammed and this would be neat.

Maybe just maybe VW will see that the US market needs more trucks and bring both over.

Interesting story with the Saveiro, here in Chile the MK1 and other similar trucks were called “camino al cielo” which translates to “road to heaven” because they were really light for the amount of power they had, so people were easily killed by driving too fast.

Yeah... so... this this falling from heaven into the USA with locking diffs and a diesel today was enough to make me completely forget about that Amarok. Or really any other truck we can’t get for a while anyway...

Agreed, I am a fan.

Yeah, the zr2 looks to have the goods. Gotta guess at the price though, locking diffs and shook valves ain’t cheap. I’m guessing low to mid 40s

Yeah price is going to steep - a Z71 diesel is already pushing $40k with a few options. Low to mid $40's sounds right. That’s pretty close to the Taco TRD Pro, and no diesel there. Of course reliabity is known over there... I think the jury is still out on this.

Yeah that thing is badass
